When people ask me what I do and where I work, I get excited to tell them the answer because it almost comes as a surprise when I describe what our company does. When I say, " I work for a steel bending and fabrication company" many people look at me inquisitively and ask "so what does that mean?" Since many of the products we make require someone to look above eye level, my common response is "next time you are outside, look up, look around, any time you see bent steel on a canopy, a roof truss, a store front...those are the kinds of things we make." Albina Co., Inc. recently completed a project involving various curved tube steel to create a state-of-the-art car canopy at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. Albina Co., Inc. bent tube steel 5" X 3" X .375" WALL A500 GR B and tube steel 5" X 3" X .250" WALL A500 GR B for the project. All of the material was rolled the hard way to AESS (Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel) standards.

Albina Co., Inc. bent 42,000# of curved hallow structural steel all of which will be Architecturally Exposed for the Warm Springs BART Pavilion Building expansion project located in Fremont, California. The bent structural material consisted of TS 10" X 4" X .500" WALL A500 GR B bent to a 29’ 9½” radius the easy way and TS 10" X 6" X .375" WALL A500 GR B bent to a 27’ 9½” radius the easy way.

A wide variety of mounting options, tooling sets and finishes allow us to produce a custom bike rack to fit your needs and specifications. There are certain pieces of information that we require to process your order for curved steel. School construction this time of year is always very busy. Albina has been fortunate to work on a number of national school projects. These projects consist of anything from improvements on existing schools to new construction. We were recently awarded the contract for bending all of the wide flange for the Pueblo West High School out of Pueblo, Colorado. This project includes 27,000# of wide flange all being bent the easy way by Albina, material consisting of W12 x 26#, W12 x 335#, W14 x 34# and W24 x 76#.
