Curved Steel Canopy at World of Speed Museum
World of Speed, a nonprofit experiential motor sports exposition, purchased an 80,000 square foot building in Wilsonville, Oregon as the permanent home for an auto racing and performance car tourism destination and an auto industry educational program. A local contractor partnered with Albina Co., Inc. to have us bend the curved steel canopy on the top of the building. Materials consisted of 6" SCH80 A53B rolled to a 48’ 4” center-line-radius. The customer will net 78’ 4” of bent material. All roll material is Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel. Click on their site, World of Speed for more information about the World of Speed and the new museum.
