Albina is proud to have contributed to the construction of the brand new Montana Heritage Center in Helena, Montana — a landmark project designed to celebrate the rich history and culture of the state while creating a vibrant community gathering space for generations to come.

Located in the heart of Helena, the Montana Heritage Center sits adjacent to the Montana State Capitol and the Original Governor’s Mansion, placing it at the center of Montana’s historical and civic landscape. The facility will serve as the new home of the Montana Historical Society and includes a museum, library, café, and public gathering spaces that invite visitors to explore and connect with the state’s heritage.

As part of this exciting project, Albina fabricated and bent 16 pieces of W10 x 30# A992 steel beams to various radii to help create the striking Arbor canopies at the front of the building. These custom curved structural elements play a key role in the architectural design, helping to establish a welcoming and visually dynamic entrance for visitors.

Projects like the Montana Heritage Center showcase the versatility and precision required in curved steel fabrication. By working closely with project partners and delivering accurately curved structural members, Albina helped bring the architect’s vision to life while supporting the creation of a space that will serve the community for years to come.

We are honored to have played a role in such an important project and look forward to seeing the Montana Heritage Center become a destination that celebrates the stories, history, and spirit of Montana.
