“Wind Witches” by Brian Borrello. The rounded twisting shapes of “Wind Witches” by Brian Borrello are inspired by the logarithmic spiraling within desert plants. The two sculptures are also an expression of the order and symmetry found in nature. Located at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, WA. Materials bent and Fabricated complete by Albina. "A Monumental Journey" by Kerry James Marshall was one of ten innovative projects to win a top Steel Design Award this year. Sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel (IDEAS²) Award program recognizes projects that illustrate the possibilities of building with structural steel. Marshall designed the sculpture for the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation. The sculpture is made of manganese, ironspot brick, steel, and granite and measures approx. H. 30 ft, D. 19 ft. That’s One Big Slinky! Albina recently coiled two assemblies out of 39 lengths x 20 feet of 2” OD x .120” wall T304 s/s (180 grit). Albina rolled, trimmed, weld prepped and TIG welded each coiled length. The material was coiled to a 90” diameter. Albina has the expertise to bend coils to virtually any configuration. We coil all forms of material: pipe, tubing, square and rectangular. We also work with all types of material: carbon, stainless, aluminum, copper, zirconium, etc. Photo Credit: @Brooke_Smith_Photography
Albina recently rolled a ton of different material and material sizes for the Arizona Biltmore (A Waldorf Astoria Resort) for their new Paradise Slides. Materials Albina bent for this project included tube steel, various sizes and widths of pipe and round tube as well as several pieces of angel and channel. Next Level Steel was the fabricator on the project.

Albina Co, Inc. produces consistent, accurate and repeatable rolled metal parts and components for various OEM and industrial business sectors. We produce small parts such as pipe spools, hydraulic lines, handles, brake bands, boiler tubes, heat exchangers, and coils.
We bend and fabricate pipe spools for a variety of different industries. We have the ability to provide small and large spools out of both carbon and stainless materials. Our qualified welders can TIG or MIG weld spools depending on customer requirements.
Our bent steel can be seen on various applications in the auto, marine, aviation, locomotive, agricultural and food processing sectors. Our bends are used on locomotive frames, boat frames, deck rails and even components for homeland security helping to protect our docks and ports. Here is an example of an extremely impressive bend for a commercial processing application:
Albina bent, torch cut out, fit and tack welded 10" SCH120 SA106B SMLS to a 12 ft radius.
Our plate roll is consistently rolling custom tanks for countless industries, brake bands for industrial manufacturers and non-standard pipe diameters.
Our qualified crew has the skills required to fabricate your wear backs, or other pressure retaining components.
If your product needs to be opened, closed, held or picked up, we can produce your handle!
Albina has the expertise to bend coils to virtually any configuration. We coil all forms of material: pipe, tubing, square and rectangular. We also work with all types of material: carbon, stainless, aluminum, copper, zirconium, etc. One call can result in bent material fully fabricated with flanges, fittings, miscellaneous components, etc.
Most alternative energy projects require AESS (Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel) and Albina can bend to your AESS requirements. Team up with Albina on your next project so we can help you recognize savings and treat you to a stress free experience.
We specialize in architectural exposure quality spiraling of tube steel, channel, plate and pipe to amazingly tight radii and steep pitches and we work on both commercial and residential applications. this blog highlights a few recent Residential Spiral Staircase projects we have been a part of.

As we near the end of the pandemic, and start to come out of the recession, we are seeing little signs of change and positivity more and more every day. The phones are ringing, people are becoming more engaged, and projects are finally getting off the ground. Together, we have the opportunity to turn the dark and dreary days of the last year, into something bright and beautiful for the years ahead. Let's put some positivity and color into this world, and it wouldn't hurt if we put some more curved steel in it as well. Ha! @brooke_smith_photography
